NLS Charity Dinner @ One World Hotel

We were at a charity dinner organised by the NLS church @ 1 World Hotel (next to 1 Utama...of course). One of our buddies got so blessed during the Raffles Draw...guess what he won?...scroll down to find out...

Oolala...our Malaysian Songbird, Francesca Peter was there to entertain...aha...for some "unknown" reason, she just came over to our table and grabbed this guy Steve to be her guest duet partner... It was so hilarious to see him rendering the Mandarin and Tamil versions of "Hound Dog" popularised by Elvis Presley.

New Spot In Town

Hey! I was invited for a corporate function last week. It was held at a new and nice place...it was "cool". Its the DUA RESIDENCY, located along the busy Jalan Tun Razak, next to the S'pore High Comm.
The function was held at the DUA DELICIOUS restaurant... Carpark was new and free, too....hahaha... Another thing, I walked home with a nice gift from the Lucky Draw...double bonus!

Has the Monsoon started?

Aha...it seems that the Monsoon season has started. It just rain and rain...almost everyday?

Be sure you don't leave home without an umbrella or a raincoat, perhaps? Good business for those selling umbrellas, ha?

Stings Like A Bee?

Ouch! Ouch! Stung by a bee. Yes! I was stung by a little bee when I got home just now. Guess what? It was sssssoooooo 'painful', excruciating pain.
Thank God I had some ointment bought during my recent trip to Thailand. Hey! It worked. That pain and sored-little toe of mine subsided in just a couple of minutes later. Praise God.

Anyway, to end...I killed that bee with some spray of 'insecticide' before it could do more harm. Sorry lah.

Double Rainbow

Speaking about the weather...whoosh! These 2 days had been hot & dry.

Know what? Was driving along Jln Damansara the other day, after a downpour. Suddenly right there before my eyes was a beautiful rainbow.

When I look again, Hey! its a Double Rainbow. Aren't they miracles from God?

I quickly took some snap-shots. Hallelujah! Take a closer look and you'll notice its a double rainbow.

Broadband & Holidays

Grrr...each time when there is a long weekend or holiday, the internet broadband speed just DROPS !! Grrr...

Global Warming?

Wow! The weather is so unpredictable nowadays, even the Weatherman blushed. Quite a number of appointments had to be postponed or cancelled (may seem good for clients but not me...)
